Terms of Use

These terms describe the rules for using FireScraper and purchasing crawl capacity through the app.

Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your access to FireScraper, the website, and the scraping tools we provide. By using the service, you agree to these terms and to any related legal policies posted on the site.

We may update these terms from time to time by posting revised versions on the website.

Permitted use

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the service in accordance with these terms.

You are responsible for how you use scraped outputs, the sites you target, and your compliance with applicable laws, contracts, and website restrictions.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, the FireScraper brand, logo, software, and website materials are our intellectual property or are used under license.

You may not reuse our branding or protected materials without prior written permission.

Third-party content and links

The service may interact with or link to third-party websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, terms, or availability.

Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk and remains subject to their policies and rules.

Payments and refunds

Paid usage is processed through third-party payment providers. Pricing, credit purchases, and any refund policy are subject to the terms presented at purchase time.

We do not store raw payment card data on our servers.

Data retention

Scrape session data, including crawled content and exported files, is retained for six (6) months from the date the session was created. After this period, session data is automatically and permanently deleted.

Sessions created under earlier versions of the service that do not have a recorded creation date may also be removed during routine maintenance.

You are responsible for downloading and keeping your own copies of any exports you wish to retain beyond the six-month window.

No warranties and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions, third-party website behavior, data issues, or your use of scraped content, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold FireScraper harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these terms.
